Dont know how you did it, but you really out did yourselves once again. Everything fromt the decor to the music was awesome. Never found myself getting tired of the tunes, really good flow, nice bit of full on, to get the juices flowing then onto the mentalness of cuboid atom, atom grinder and ryans set, through to the trippy dubbytech stuff of Thoms (really enjoyed your stuff man, just what the doctor ordered) and wobbly squadron getting everyone hips into a good ole boogy. Ace venue, only down side was the early close. Big thanks for an aweome night once again!

Awesome party folks. I left with a really big smile on my face. Cheers for that, and all the effort you put in... I was a bit bewildered about the music tho....(as was everyone I came with, and a couple of people I spoke to).... Can I divulge/elaborate... .......dont wanna be seen to be winging, thats all xx Thanks again for a top party tho!!

aye to the music side nook - think plenty peole agree with you there -
on the one hand i do take me hat of to ryan for goin out and bringing in names that he thinks are good - its done with real passion and that does count for loads and means it is always worthwhile - also championing the home grown cuboid atom and thom is always a good thing. propper roots/human vibe innit. and always great to see things evolve and grow...
although quite alot of the music was not for me - disliked even - i did come away happy and i think some part of that is due to party being a mix of styles.
i dunno maye it aint "just" a Psy night no more...
shame there is no room for a chillout (apart from the "really" chill-out-side) to go when the music is not wot you like. but you cant have it allways...

Hey guys fab night!! decor was mind blowin an the vibe fantastic, liverpool is always forward thinkin in style an attitude. I spoke to thom an I would like to get into what hes creating musicaly a bit more its just that at three in the A.M. the chemicals were at the peak an I needed to dance like a mentalist on a bit more familier territory. a bit earlier in the evening an I would have been more receptive cos new stuff always takes a couple of listens for me to really apreciate what I think its about so it kinda took me off guard (and me tits)....but stick to ur guns guys cos Im all for innovative ground breaking.... and dare I say contraversial music.....An big hug up to choop fer lookin after us all at her Fagins den. cyas all in a couple a weeks ...cant wait XX

Thank you thank you to everyone who cam along n helped celebrate another brilliant and stonking night! Atmos[here was aweome, thank you very much to everyone who came along and smiled and danced the eve away x x Was great to see how Thom, Misha, Chris, Sean & Dylan made another new space come alive yet again! And to Mike for the massive head - great job x x And to all the people who kindly gave their time and energy! And to Ryan of course for the excellent and innovative selection of music Indeed Griff, all the music was there for everyone to listen too before hand - as there always is, no hidden suprises there - I'd have thought that the pepople coming along who are really into their music would have been on that already. And if you run around tryin to please everyone then what sort of a music promoter would you be? Sureley thats when scenes become stagnant and stale and nights loose their soul and passion. I dont think that will ever happen whilst Ryan and Thom are putting on their own events.... phew! I had one of the best nights in a long long time, absolute bags, rucksacks and shopping trolleys full of fun!! Thank you to everyone involved and of course to... THE KAZIMERE!!! What a place eh?! Brilliant stuff! x x x x x

yeah Grif u opened my eyes there, but being a child of the sixties an still struggling to hold a fountain pen the right way up never mind wrestle the computer off teenage waifs an strays that seem to infest our house in double figures, I dont do much myspazzing, next time I shall coordinate my exessive hedonistic intake for a more familier D.J. set an then I can be more objective about the newer sounds....I mean a few years back it took me ages to get my head round Bend Sinister by the Fall `and the David Byrne and Brian Eno collaberation, "My life in the bush of ghosts" had me perplexed for a couple of plays till I got it, (they took a recording of an actual exorcisim and put it to a hypnotic trance beat the scariest piece of music you will ever hear). I still hold to the notion that Bowies "Tin Machine" is a pile of sh*te tho...an after after years of adoring the guys work but hay ho. Your bang on Choo to defend the goals and ideas of Soma Sonic, its not just the music that makes it work its creating a living breathing space that stimulates all the senses, the ebb and flow, the mix of people at Soma gets more and more diverse every time we visit yet the atmosphere, vibe, mood of the crowd seems to keep on emulsifying, blending togeather for that short space of time with no other agendas but to forget your worries, make new friends and be happy. y know I spent a good few hours talkin one on one to Psytrance brothers an sisters who I hadnt had the oppertunity to before and yeah there was a bit of griping; myself included about the direction of the music on Saturday and Im sure they will voice their opinions to yas in their own time.but the fact that you dared to go against the flow got us talkin about life, loves, fears, hopes everything!! it was beautiful an you could say that was brought about by you guys being innovative and challenging. Ive now got home over the pennines... slept, ate, woke up an looked at the bigger picture..an I still got a big fat cheesey grin about what an adventure that was. Remembering the faces of people much younger, better looking an less cynical than me in total raptures all nite and the class an style of outfits taken from all kinds of influences, movements and retrospectives but without any sense of arrogance or elitism just "Dead Sound" as they say on Merseyside. I mean I seem to recal you having some lunatic pumping out the likes of Captain Beefheart, Led Zepplin and the Butt hole surfers in the chill out when you did a nite at the Picket club last year.......ya know what comments and feedback from anyone who went last saturday Im sure will be welcomed, addressed and used to calibrate the further development of the Soma Experiance. Im gonna bring me own tea bags next time tho.. and proper milk. love NerDowElL X

Cheers, N well i think choo said it right - i take me hat off (ive got 2 you see) to ryan/thom for doin wot they do. it is done with passion and commitment. so its real. wether i like the choices is kinda missin the point. its kept fresh and new because the energy that has gone into getting it together is good n strong. like i said - i think the great atmosphere (and it was a very very good one) does indeed have alot to do with the smorgazboard type music policy. there were 9 sets ... n-i-n-e s-e-t-s thats alot of different music in one night...

i still have the fattest smile aching my face x For me i really enjoyed the madness, i danced to some, got lost to some, chewed the hind leg off a donkey to some more. i found it nice not being nailed to the dancefloor for a change! the venue was so good you had options to be do other things..... hide and seek was great! sooooo many venues these days have nowhere to get comfy, to sit or gather and talk sh*te to each other. the gallery was perfect for taking stock of the world and people watching which i adore. it was a really social party where meeting friends (and there were loads there) was the best bit. Soma and its variety enabled us to mingle and get daft and i loved it for that. cheers guys, that was really ace, i will ride that vibe for some time xx cheryl
