ok so imagine this with psytrance! the possibilities are immense! even better imagine it for a whole stage show, to have all the lighting programmed with the music, and have different animations of each part of the music playing on seperate screens. so theres the idea... any1 without zillions of projects going allready, and with any knowledge on how you could do it ,,, - wouldnt that be nice for soma sonic like the lasers at fullmoon, sometimes they must of been pre programmed with the music, knowing what was coming, or somehow activated to the peaks and freqs. does anyone here know how to do that kinda stuff?!

It's be easiest to actually key it to the music, so when a particular track was being played just trigger the vid. On he fly techiques could be that you have your animations linked to a keyboard you could then trigger them individualy, at a single key press. you'd need to make the loops so that they layer up nice. If someone is playing with a music software which can transmit midi data, then you can have the clips triggered via midi. It'd be a lotta work, but I reckon the easiest would to be build up a collection by making some loops for a particular track. these loops would then be at a certain BPM and you could then start playing around with them with other tunes.
