for the 2nd birthday party we arranged a temporary events licence till 10am. we would like to continue taking our events this long but unless we have more people that stay right till the end, its not likely we will be able to continue this as such a mamoth adventure... please let us know how long you can and will last for at one of our parties. bareing in mind that for the 10am parties its nice to have a different taste of live psychedelic music at the end... just thourght it would be good to do a bit of research. please take part...

10am for me all the way!
I loved the different style in the morning, gave the place a vibe that you can only every usualy get at a festival tbh. Brilliant move!

i know the main core of partygoers will stay till the end, just when theres drastic drops in people its less likely we will be able to continue for that long again...
any sujjestions on more finishing bands would be nice to look into... if you know of any that you think would work, le us know.

love the idea of a live band to round it off - but i think 8 would do fine - peeps have come down by 4/5ish and want to flop down n smoke dont they...
maybe if the band was a recognized trancy psy act then more peeps might of stayed....it was a long night for sure....
but if the tempo is brought down all smooth and the cussions/hammocks and cups of tea come out then there is no end is there...but who wants to do all that work after already doin loads gettin it ready...someone stronger than me for sure
Redstripe would be a good gig im sure - see jisty for the deets
ash/ste jones will know some good ones i bet - there is a reggee one ash is in with - forget the name...
bet nook knows loads a dub outfits...
alive at the end - good stuff x zzzzzzzzzz

im am a deaf old codger - and im not ashamed about x ...time for me slippers and coco - heaven.... nar, really me point is that the longer it goes on the more it becomes just a room full of munters milling about all twitchin and mumbeling - its ok in d woods cause its fresh air, trees, nature goodness and all that and you can get your head down then come bak up for more....but in a club what looks all sparkley at the start turns bak into the reality of being a mankey divey venue....i am well ready to scoot to a warm cozy home for tea and chats... alot depends on the tipple of choice im agree - but not everyone - in fact prolly most dont hammer it that much i think... so if its gonna be a long one - then extra fluffyness and comfey comedown kit has to be provided - to be honest in a club - 4am is my perfect time... wot was that? clear off grandad? ahhh - think me coco is ready then a nice nap i think... xxx

id be quite tempted to suggest 8pm-6am...... Its easier for the people travelling on public transport, and would allow people to get the first bus/train home, rather than having to wait for the later mid-day services.... Was great having it til 10am as a one off tho...

Nooooo!!!!! 4?! 6?! What's the opposite of a creche....?! fair enough 10 may be a biiiit late, getting outta the venue with all the gear by 10am, thats groovey, deffo music till 8/9ish tho, deffo Means that even in winter gettin public transport is a breeze, and was a real treat to party the sun up even in November!!

Im with you bud.... Outdoors, i'll go for days..... Indoors, seems like people struggle to hold themselves togeather after 4-6am.... ...to be fair i felt like inviting you all home after the last one for some good home cooking, nice chillled music, hot chocolate and Ital challice smoking. (toooo many pasty, pale, ill looking faces for my liking after 6am)....

i think my nan goes home at 4 and she's 94. if you've got the choice 4 is way to early, 6 is acceptable, 8 would be better.

whats all this?! deary me, u softcore lot im sorry buttons but, the venue looked just as good at the end as it did at the start!!! and there were plenty of ppl who were still flying at 9:30. tho its interesting cos i noticed it was less of the outdoor party lot and more of the local scousers that were still bouncin round at the end. but yes a band at the end is defo a good idea. still working on getting one for this next party, tho funds are limited. anyone got any ideas?

yes good ideaz peeps! we should well start some kind of jam band, we had that idea for the outdoor party, told everyone to bring intstruments and see what happens.... thats defo a possibility.... now after teh kerfuffle of tetchi and their lack of communication dont want to jump in head first and say anything yet but.... im talkin to these guys: www.myspace.com/trancientdreams check em out!!! theyre free that night, interested and gonna get back to me... watch this space!!

Well for me if there's a band at the end then I'll DEFO stay til 10am, but if it's just 'stompitty stomp' psy for 12 hours, then maybe not.... cos after a while the music gets embedded into my head and I need a slight change for variety's sake...
But a live band never fails to perk me up, especially if they're a bit jazzy or psychedelic or rocky y'know...
