nice idea guys.... After the last one....i was thinking...''whatevers next??''..... Now i know love n luck, N i know that one! its not easy finding themes that will work well on many levels. sometimes the dressing up is easy but the decor for a theme hard sometimes the other way. we try and do themes that lend themselves to participation and psychedelic decor, the western, prehistoric, pirates, were all great cos they were like this. we were scratching our chin for a week then ....'MEDIEVAL' popped into serena's brain and we are off got loads of ideas ....castles, princesses, knights, dragons, jesters, buxsome serving wenches, peasants, jousting..... ect loads of scope for a bit of fun xx cheryl

*********NEW VENUE *********** WE HAVE MOVED DOWN THE ROAD A BIT. (closer to train station, an easy wander) Stars nightclub and mayfair suite above 'Skate Central' (fka silver blades ice rink), queens road S2 4DF

hiya
yep we are good to go all the usual fatmooniness just different venue! it's easy to find. its just up/down? the road from the earl.
We are using a nice little nightclub called stars. it is in the same building as Skate Central which used to be known as silver blades ice rink, (it is now a roller rink) Stars and mayfair suites, queens road S2 4DF
you get into the club through a door next to the Mecca bingo door and the building has a big Mecca bingo sign at the left hand end of the front which will show you where to be.
the Roller rink has a huge car park, but if you are coming on the train its just a 5 min walk. its really close to the train station.
come out of the station, follow the road round to the Left up to the junction and then keep left, walk along the straight road passing car garages and stuff til you get to the 1st roundabout/junction, just after the roundabout/junction (i think you will see the Mecca Bingo sign) i think it is the 4th road round is Queens Road, and on the left is the rink/bingo place you want.
if you know where the Earl is it is on the same road only much closer to the town centre, at the bottom end of Queens road, on the right hand side.
now some important stuff,
Be savy with what you bring, its pretty free and easy inside nice friendly place. The venue will be selling alcohol and so bringing your own is NOT allowed.
lastly the doors will shut at 2am, strictly no admitance after his time so get there early, enough rules!!
see you at fatmoon love and laughter cheryl technomedic (fatmoon)

big thank yous to everyone who made it down and making it such a good party. we all had a good night and the vibe was very chill, so despite the last minute change of venue hassles, it worked out very well. thanks to nigel for letting us have the venue at very short notice, james & richard for the very sweet sounding pa's (still can't believe you built those boxes in 2 days - fluoro fibre glass mid cones - awesome). thanks also to the djs in both rooms and live act metaspiral - great music all night. Always great to meet friends old & new, hope to catch up with everyone very soon. the summer's very nearly here - bring it on..... m
