It is a shame about the picket, as it was an awesome place for us, the only thing letting it down is the unprofessional manner in which the manager handled a number of situations with us. We have no time for working with people like this.

aye ryan - jus sayin wot you just said has now put people in the picture. that is all that is needed... dont need statements - need the info to flow... we are all one... xx that cool place Soma is tryin to get is the Kazimeer (just next to Nation) it is run by the ART organization. and is really really perfect for us. it could be a melting pot of circus and psy vibes. there is a night on there this friday (in the manner of the Great Exposition - think victorian) if you want to go and have a look...(and have an amazing night to boot - very different)... then maybe you could join us in trying to secure it for soma come january. ie - be an amazing psy-party-person and make them realise that they should joining up with us as quick as they can...

Aye, there is never any point going off half cocked, spreading whispers of maybee's and whatmay's... Last winter was the most regular Psychometric Vision have ever hosted events (as far as I am aware, that is!). I dont think its ever been about regularity or having to put on an even at a certain time for them... Its more about finding the right place, with the right vibe at the right time - and then creating something spectacular. Everything happens when it is meant to happen

Oh dont be so pessimistic! Re-read a few posts and you'll see.
Besides, who says you only have to go out in Liverpool eh? Your prob just as close to Manchester and surely a suportive psy-fan such as yourslef would welcome the chance to support some of the other wonderful psy nights in the North West?!
Look up from the pavement man!

Your prob just as close to Manchester and surely a suportive psy-fan such as yourslef would welcome the chance to support some of the other wonderful psy nights in the North West?! Look up from the pavement man! Point taken Choo.... Wasn't being pessimistic, just realistic... I don't drive and I have a fair few out goings, and I don't have many places to crash in Manchester (plus train prices are twice as much to Manc as they are to Lpool)... I work part time, so cash is always a problem... If anything my post was a reflection on the changes that have taken place in just the last two years... Oh well, maybe I should just save my pennies and venture forth unto new horizons...
