thanks for everyones much needed help in setting up when we were pushed back yet again, it was wonderful to see it all come together so quickly, and all made for an amazing experience itself. appologies, for the late start but i guess everyone knows why now... when it all came together and the venue filled up with all you lovelly party people, it was so worth all the effort in making it happen. i had a wonderful time and i hope you all did too. the music took me on the most fantastic journey from start to finish. the live band 'Jaberwok' was the perfect ending to the night i thourght, really brought out everyones energy again!
thanks again to everyone who got involved, you will know who you are, just to let you know, you are greatly appreciated.
i guess thats the end of an era for now. onwards and upwards, lets take it to the next level. x

My first post, but felt compelled after such a perfect night. We turned up early, took our places at the front of the queue and the vibe just improved as the night went on I've been to a few psychometric nights, but this one certainly topped the lot, great crowd, great visuals, stunning music. And finishing with Jaberwok was truly inspired! Rather than plumping them early in the night they were set perfectly to leave the party with a shkronking, rocking, acid mothers temple-esque head rush! Definately a group i'll be following in the coming months. thanks to all I met, managed to get a few more splittercore and Gabber warriors to add to the collective, diversity truly is the spice of life x

Gutted that it was the last Soma until the autumn! It was the first one I'd been to and I have to say probably the best rave yet. Can't wait for it all to start up again!

review is now up in the review section! thanks again to josh! We managed to get recordings of all the DJs who played at Soma Sonic this time!!! ...including Whicked Hayo! which Morad very kindly let us do....he has requested that we wait until a while after his album is released. so i will post it up here as soon as he gives me the go ahead. ;D We didnt get Jaberwoks set unfortunately as we were only recording from the DJ mixer...recording the bands will be something we will look into in the future tho! the music was excellent all night...cutting edge, full spectrum psytrance (skipping the commercial b**l*x) i was really happy with the way the music flowed through the night...ever rising to a truely insane peak and back down again for a safe landing back on planet liverpool. u can find the download links here: www.celticpsytrance.proboards41.com/index.cgi?board=cdjmixes&action=display&thread=4944&page=1
