Well we have received our invites and it looks like I'll have to do some grovelling at work, cause my college is off for the last week in Aug n first in Sept for her annual Hol. (We're not supposed to overlap!! ) We would LOVE to make it cause it will be our 7th Wedding Anniversary on Aug 25th, what a way to celebrate!!! this coupled with the "Total Lunar Eclipse & Bank Holiday" Celtic party actually on the event!!!! I suppose I shouldn't be greedy and not be tooooooo disappointed if we can't get the time off Here's hoping XX

Anytime in the late evening is usually cheaper The Ferry tends to be a lot cheaper for foot/thumb travel though

Heya buttons hun, to be honest, borrowing a mini bus sems to not really be happening... had a few hopefulls but they have all fallen through really Costs quite a bit to hire one, would be same to fly as the ferry only gives you 9 name slots, and with gear we could not really fit 14.... Clare and Paul had the idea of a load of us all chipping in for a minibus but I'm not sure how that would work exactly and if wnough peeps would be up for it... so I'm kinda stuck meself! I'm in a position to buy my own minibus once I've moved to Neston in 6 weeks, but the cost of commuting in a minibus right now would cripple me... I'll see you later dude anyways, so maybe we can come up with some sort of master plan... before I bow to the carbon & book me flights! Yours hopefully ! Choo xXx

cheers kevr looked at the chunnel and got £100 to go in a van on 28th 10pm come back 4th midday but the monday (3rd) was more pricy but not sure if that is per person or for the van - the frreeys are just for the van so we cabn share the cost. aye choo nice for gettin back im lookion at vans and if the right one is found would consider a small mini bus (it has to bwe me everyday transport so dont want a big old thing) but chance is i could get me plus 5 in whateva i do get....see ya later anywayz...

edit the chunnel price £100 is all in so that aint too bad is it.... £20 for 5 peeps.... Yea that would be right, prices are always per vehicle. In the past we have had a 30 day off peak ticket, meaning we could leave/return anytime between 11.30pm - 7.30 am. this has usually cost us around £150 ish, so £100 is a good price. Travelling via chunnel takes around 35mins , travelling oversea takes a lot longer but is rather more scenic. Another thing to bear in mind is how well do you travel over water, The English channel ain't the Med. Or conversely to you not like enclosed spaces, either one could be a nightmare. One bonus travelling via chunnel late a night, is that there is nobody on the roads , pedal to the metal time.
